24 hours in LONDON
In this post, you’ll find excellent itineraries that will miraculously transform an annoying layover at one of the six London airports into a brief extra vacation of up to 24 hours. However, since my itinerary is so inspiring and fun, make sure you don’t miss your connecting flight!

24 hours in FRANKFURT
Germany’s busiest international airport is located just minutes from the city of Frankfurt on the Main. This might give travellers the opportunity to explore this often underrated city on a layover. In this post, I’ve put together a perfect itinerary for up to 24 hours which will enable them to make the best of their stay in Frankfurt.

This special category on my blog is designated to transform any kind of a layover into a short extra vacation.
This Way to the Whole Story ->24 hours in COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen is a fascinating mix of romantic castles and quirky neighborhoods, the world’s oldest amusement park, and exciting contemporary art. Furthermore, Copenhagen is said to be the happiest city in the world. And finally, it is a gateway not only for travellers going to various places in Scandinavia: When SAS has one of its incredible offers, Copenhagen can also be a major hub for those travelling between continents. No matter for what reason you have a layover in Copenhagen, with my itinerary for a stay of up to 24 hours, you’ll enjoy some of the city’s best sides’n’sights.

This Way to the Whole Story ->Guide to HAMBURG, the self-proclaimed Gateway to the World
Let me guide you through Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city and self-proclaimed Gateway to the World. Personally, I took the slogan of my hometown very literally and became a globetrotter and travel blogger. Hamburg’s maritime charm and traditional cosmopolitanism will delight you and you will be enchanted by seductive views that will whet your appetite for undiscovered shores. Germans call this wanderlust Fernweh – loosely translated to aching for distance.

How to Visit the NordArt in 2023
The older I get, the faster time seems to go by. The advantage of time just flying by, however, is the fast return of annual events such as the wonderful art fair NordArt. Every year, this fantastic art event transforms the northern German provincial town of Büdelsdorf for a couple of months into a vibrant and exciting international art mecca. So come on, join me on my train ride into the boonies, and let me show you how to visit NordArt 2023.

Spanish artist Samuel Salcedo casted them from iron and aluminum.
MURANO – BURANO – TORCELLO: A Self-Guided Island Tour
Sure, there is a lot to see in Venice’s Centro Storico, the historic center, yet, there are also those smaller gems. In this guide, I show you how to visit Murano, Burano, and Torcello, comfortably on a self-guided tour. It’s actually pretty easy and inexpensive to visit these three islands on a day trip from Venice.

PUERTO del ROSARIO – Fuerteventura’s Underrated Capital
Puerto del Rosario is Fuerteventura’s capital and totally underrated. No wonder, the competition is powerful: Golden beaches, turquoise waters, gigantic sand dunes, and windy surfing grounds.

Hence, it’s understandable that hardly any tourist spends time in Puerto del Rosario. If you ask me, that’s a big mistake since the city has enough to offer to spend at least one day there.
This Way to the Whole Story ->Day Trip to the LIDO di VENEZIA. Breaking Away from Venice
Venice is magic, without a doubt: The canals, the bridges, the palazzi, the gondolas – I could go on and on. Nevertheless, a visit to Venice can also be very stressful: The tourist masses, the pushing, the shoving, the lines, the heat. Therefore, especially if you are in Venice for more than just two or three days, you should treat yourself to a day trip to the beaches of the Lido di Venezia.

Break away from Venice and hop on the vaporatto that rushes you to the Lido di Venezia in about half an hour’s time. Here, you’ll enter a world of serenity and the flair of a Mediterranean beach resort.
